Alberade was born in 0956.  Alberade's father was Giselbert DE LORRAINE and her mother was Princess/ Gerberge OF GERMANY.  Her maternal grandparents were King Henry I OF THE GERMANS Heinrick "The Fowler" and Saint Matilda OF RINGLEHEIM. She had a sister named Gerberge.  She was the younger of the two children. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Charles of Upper Lorraine and Matilde.
