Duke/Duke Charles of Upper Lorraine OF LAON

Charles of Upper Lorraine was born in 0950 in Laon, Aisne, France.  Charles of Upper Lorraine's father was King Louis IV "Transmarinus" OF FRANCE and his mother was Princess/ Gerberge OF GERMANY.  His maternal grandparents were King Henry I OF THE GERMANS Heinrick "The Fowler" and Saint Matilda OF RINGLEHEIM. He had a sister named Matilde.  He was the younger of the two children. He had two half-sisters named Gerberge and Alberade.  He died at the age of 41 in 0991.
