Gerberge was born in 0970 in Kinzigau, Schwaben, Germany. Gerberge's father was Otto II OF TULLFELD. Her paternal grandfather was Otto I OF TULLFELD. She was an only child. Gerberge is no longer alive.General Notes
Credited with the first unification of the country, convertedthe Danes to Christianity, and conquered Norway. After hisBaptism his fathers pagan tomb was transformed into a Christianplace of worship.
Introduced Christianity into Denmark, he had the famous Jellingrune stone erected in his parent memory. He was fatally woundedduring a rebellion by his son and successor, Sveng I.
