Roger 2nd Baron de was born about 1307 in Shalford Manor, Braintree, Essex, England. Roger 2nd Baron de's father was John de Northwode , Sir and his mother was Agnes de Grandison. His maternal grandparents were William 1st Baron de Grandison , Sir and Blanche de Savoie.
