Margaret (Eleanor) was born about 1314 in Watton-at-Stone, Hertford, Hertfordshire, England.  Margaret (Eleanor)'s father was Thomas 2nd Baron Bardolf , Sir and her mother was Agnes de Grandison.  Her paternal grandparents were Hugh 1st Baron Bardolf , Sir and Isabel de Aguillon , Heiress of Addington; her maternal grandparents were William 1st Baron de Grandison , Sir and Blanche de Savoie. She had a brother and two sisters, named John 3rd Baron, Barbara and Cecily Cycely. She had a half-brother named Roger 2nd Baron de.  She died in Greenfield Priory, Lincolnshire, England.
