Sibyl de was born about 1058 in of Montgomery, Wales. Sibyl de's father was Earl of Arundel Roger de Montgomery Earl of Arundel and her mother was Mabel d' Alencon Talvas. Her paternal grandparents were Seigneur Hugues de (Hugh) Montgomery Seigneur and Josceline of Pont-Audemer; her maternal grandparents were Count d' Alencon William II d' Talvas Count d' Alencon and Hildeburge de Beaumont. She had three brothers and a sister, named Robert II de, Roger de, Arnulph de and Maude de (Mathilde). She died about 1107.General Notes
