Margaret (Marjory or Mary) de was born about 1270 in Kildrummy Castle, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.  Margaret (Marjory or Mary) de's father was Donald 6th Earl de Mar , Sir Knight and her mother was Helen verch Llewelyn.  Her paternal grandparents were William 5th Earl de Mar , Sir and Elizabeth Comyn; her maternal grandparents were Llewelyn ap Iorwerth , Prince of Wales and Unknown Mistress. She had a brother and two sisters, named Gratney 7th Earl de, Margaret of and Isabel (Matilda) de.  She was the oldest of the four children.  She died before July 24th, 1326 in Dunrobin Castle, Golspie, Sutherland, Scotland.
