Margaret De Lacy 
Margaret De was born about 1228 in Ewyas Lacy, Herefordshire, England. Margaret De's father was Gilbert De Lacy and her mother was Isabel Bigod. Her paternal grandparents were Lord Of Meath Walter De Lacy Lord Of Meath and Margaret De Braose; her maternal grandparents were [3Rd Earl Norfolk] Hugh Bigod [3Rd Earl Norfolk] and [Countess] Maud Maud [Countess]/Marshal. She had a brother and a sister, named Walter De and Maud (Matilda) De. She was the oldest of the three children. She had two half-brothers and five half-sisters, named John, Richard (1St Lord Fitzjohn), Isabel, Avelina, Maud, Aveline and Joan. She died after June 10th, 1256 in Alton Castle, Cheadle, Staffordshire, England.General Notes

He [John de Verdun] married, 1stly, before 14 May 1244, Margery, 1st daughter of Gilbert DE LACY, of Ewyas Lacy, co. Hereford, by Isabel, daughter of Hugh (LE BIGOD), EARL OF NORFOLK, which Gilbert (who died v.p. between 12 August and 25 December 1230) was son and heir ap. of Walter de Lacy, Lord of Meath (who died s.p.m.s. shortly before 24 February 1240/1), to whom Margery was coheir.
