Joseph (Yosef) (Zaphenath-Pa'aneah) ben was born in 1746 BC in Paddan-aram (Syria), Land of Canaan. Joseph (Yosef) (Zaphenath-Pa'aneah) ben's mother was Prophetess Rachel (Rahel) bint Laban ben Bethuel. His maternal grandmother was Prophetesses in Judaism (Imahot). His name (Joseph) means, "May I also have another!"; for his mother said,"May Jehovah give m e another son." He was sold into bondage by his brothers (about 1729 B.C.). He was calledZaphenath-Pa'aneah b y Pharoah, which means "Preserver of the Age". Hemarried when he was 30 years old.
