Maud De was born about 1293 in Worksop, Nottinghamshire, England. Maud De's father was Sir Thomas 1St Baron De Furnival Sir and her mother was Joan Le Despenser. Her paternal grandfather was Thomas De Furnival; her maternal grandparents were Sir/[Justicar Of England] Hugh 1St Baron Le Despenser [Justicar Of England] and Countess Of Norfolk Aline Basset Countess Of Norfolk. She had a brother and three sisters, named Thomas 2Nd Baron, Katherine, Eleanor De and Margaret De. She was the second youngest of the five children. She died after 1348 in Wethrington, Lincolnshire, England.General Notes
Note: Burke's Peerage has Maud as daughter of Thomas 2nd Lord Furnival, who AR & MCS has as her brother. I think I agree with AR & MCS.
