Margaret De Furnival 
Margaret De was born about 1295 in Worksop, Nottinghamshire, England. Margaret De's father was Sir Thomas 1St Baron De Furnival Sir and her mother was Joan Le Despenser. Her paternal grandfather was Thomas De Furnival; her maternal grandparents were Sir/[Justicar Of England] Hugh 1St Baron Le Despenser [Justicar Of England] and Countess Of Norfolk Aline Basset Countess Of Norfolk. She had a brother and three sisters, named Thomas 2Nd Baron, Katherine, Eleanor De and Maud De. She was the youngest of the five children. She died before 1369.General Notes
He [Piers de Montfort] is said to have married Margaret, daughter of Thomas DE FURNIVALLE [LORD FURNIVALLE]. He died s.p.m.s. legitimate, before 24 January 1369/70, when his will (dated 11 December 1367) was proved (a). At his death any hereditary Barony which may be conceived to have been created by the writ of 1295 fell, according to modern doctrine, into abeyance between his two sisters or their representatives.
