Rotrude was born in 0775. Rotrude's father was Charlemagne Holy Roman Emperor and her mother was Hildegard Princess of Swabia. Her paternal grandparents were Pepin III "The Short" King of Franks and Berthe of Laon. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Pepin (or Carloman) of, Louis I "The Pious", Cunigunda Princess Of The, Bertha Of and Dhouda. She had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named Hugh Duc, Aupais (Alpais) of the and Dhoude Of. She died at the age of 35 in 0810.-
