Louis IX "St. Louis" King of was born on April 25th, 1214 in Chateau De Poissy, Yveline, France.  Louis IX "St. Louis" King of's father was Louis VIII "The Lion" Capet King of France and his mother was Blanca Alphonsa Princess of Castile.  His paternal grandparents were Phillipe Auguste II King of France and Isabelle De Hainault; his maternal grandparents were Alfonso VIII "The Noble" King of Castile and Eleanor Princess of England. He had three brothers named Robert I Comte, Charles I and Carlos King of.  He was the oldest of the four children.  He died at the age of 56 on August 25th, 1270 in Tunis, Tunisia, France.
