Louis VIII "The Lion" Capet King of was born on September 3rd, 1187 in Paris, Seine, France.  Louis VIII "The Lion" Capet King of's father was Phillipe Auguste II King of France and his mother was Isabelle De Hainault.  His paternal grandparents were Louis VII King of France and Adaele (Alix) Comtesse De Champagne; his maternal grandparents were Baldwin VIII Count of Flanders & V of Hainault and Marguerite De Lorraine.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 39 on November 8th, 1226 in Chateau De Montspencier, Puy De Dome, France.
