Cicely was born about 1206 in Shere, Surrey, England. Cicely's father was 3rd Earl Of Essex Geoffrey Geoffrey De 3rd Earl Of Essex/Fitzpiers and her mother was Eveline (Aveline) De Clare. Her paternal grandparents were Piers De Lutegareshale and Maud De Mandeville; her maternal grandparents were Earl Of Hertford Roger De Clare Earl Of Hertford and Maud (Matilda) De St. Hilary. She had a brother and a sister, named John (Justiciar Of Ireland) and Hawise. She was the youngest of the three children. She had five half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Geoffrey De, William De, Henry De, William, Warine, Maud De, Hawise, Alice and Cecily. She died in 1253 in England.General Notes
