Maud De was born in 1138 in Costow, Wiltshire, England.  Maud De's father was Geoffrey De Mandeville and her mother was [Countess Of Ess Rose (Rohese) De Vere [Countess Of Ess. She had four brothers and a sister, named Ernulf De, William De, Robert De, Geoffrey De and Alice De.  She was the second youngest of the six children. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Simon II De and Beatrice De.  She died in England.
