Sybil (Aelflaed) was born about 1009 in Northumberland Northumbria.  Sybil (Aelflaed)'s father was Prince Bode (Beodhe; Bjorn) Boete (Bearsson) of Scotland and her mother was Aefflaed [Aelfled Elfleda] of Bernicia.  Her paternal grandparents were King Kenneth III of Scotland and UNNAMED; her maternal grandfather was Earl Aldred [Ealdred] de Bernicia of Northumberland. She had a half-brother named Waltheof.  She died in 1040.

‌Sybil (Aelflaed) and Duncan "The Gracious" were married in a religious ceremony in 1030 in Scotland.  They had two sons named Malcolm "Ceann'Moir" and Malcolm III.
