Her paternal grandparents were Baron Lacy Roger De Lacy Baron Lacy and Maud (Matilda) De Clare; her maternal grandparents were Earl of Winchester Roger De Quincy Earl of Winchester and Helen De Galloway. She had a sister named Idonea. She was the younger of the two children. She had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Robert, William, Joan and Agnes.-
