Agatha was born in 1172. Agatha's father was William Ferrers V Earl of Derby and her mother was Sybil De Braose. Her paternal grandparents were Robert De Ferrers IV Earl of Derby and Margaret Peverell; her maternal grandparents were William Baron De Braose II Lord of Bramber and Bertha De Pitres. She had two brothers named William De Ferrers VI Earl of and Henry. She was the second oldest of the three children. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Robert de Ferrers Lord Eggington & and Isabel.General Notes
It is known that Agatha was a mistress of John, but it is only supposition
that she is the mother of his child.
