Alianor was born in 1084 in Barnstable, Devonshire, England. Alianor's father was Judeal De Totnais and her mother was Daughter De Pecguigny. Her paternal grandfather was Alured De Totnais. She was an only child.
They had a son and a daughter, named William Baron De Braose II Lord of and Matilda.
