Alice was born in 1115.  Alice's father was King Henry I "Beauclerc" "The Good Scholar" OF ENGLAND and her mother was Sibyl CORBET.  Her paternal grandparents were King William I The Conqueror "The Bastard" Duke of Normandy OF ENGLAND and Matilda OF FLANDERS; her maternal grandfather was Lord Robert Of Alcester, Warwickshire CORBET. She had a brother and a sister, named Reginald Dunstanville Of Cornwall and Constance.  She was the second oldest of the three children. She had four half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Henry FitzHenry, Robert "The Consul" Of Gloucester, William I Of Bradninch, Herbert Of Shropshire, Matilda "The Empress" Of England and Elizabeth.
