Her paternal grandparents were King William I The Conqueror "The Bastard" Duke of Normandy OF ENGLAND and Matilda OF FLANDERS; her maternal grandfather was Lord Robert Of Alcester, Warwickshire CORBET. She had a brother and a sister, named Reginald Dunstanville Of Cornwall and Constance. She was the second oldest of the three children. She had four half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Henry FitzHenry, Robert "The Consul" Of Gloucester, William I Of Bradninch, Herbert Of Shropshire, Matilda "The Empress" Of England and Elizabeth.General Notes
Credited with the first unification of the country, convertedthe Danes to Christianity, and conquered Norway. After hisBaptism his fathers pagan tomb was transformed into a Christianplace of worship.
Introduced Christianity into Denmark, he had the famous Jellingrune stone erected in his parent memory. He was fatally woundedduring a rebellion by his son and successor, Sveng I.
