Walter Of Lincoln was born in 1087 in Falkingham, Lincolnshire. Walter Of Lincoln's father was Lord/Lord Folkingham Gilbert DE GHENT DE GAND and his mother was Alice DE MONTFORT. His paternal grandparents were Ralph I DE GANT and Giselle OF LUXEMBURG; his maternal grandparents were Count Hugh II DE MONTFORT SUR RISLE and Alice DE BEAUFFOU. He had a brother and two sisters, named Hughes, Emma and Filia. He was the youngest of the four children. He died at the age of 52 in 1139.General Notes
Founded the first 5 Royal Tribes and restored the Crown ofGweynedd in 1081. Was imprisoned by the Normans in Chester in1081-1093 in Bangor Cathedral.
