Agatha de was born in 1224 in of Bromley, Surrey & Ludborough, Lincolnshire, England. Agatha de's father was Roger III de Clere , of Bromley & Ludborough and her mother was Maud de Fay. Her paternal grandparents were Ralph II de Clere and Margaret FitzPeter; her maternal grandparents were Ralph de Fay and Beatrice de Turnham. She was an only child.
