William VIII Count of Poitou X Duke of Aquitaine

William VIII Count of Poitou X Duke of was born in 1099 in Toulouse, France.  William VIII Count of Poitou X Duke of's father was William VII Count of Poitou IX Duke of Aquitaine and his mother was Maud (Philippa) de Toulouse. He had a brother and two sisters, named Raimond de, Agnes de and Mahaut de.  He was the oldest of the four children.  He died at the age of 38 on April 9th, 1137 in Santiago de Compostela, Spain.

‌William VIII Count of Poitou X Duke of and Eleanor de were married in a religious ceremony in 1121 in France.  They had two daughters named Eleanor of and Adelaide (Adele) d'.
