[Earl Hertford] Gilbert De Clare [Earl Hertford]

Gilbert De was born in 1112 in Hertford, Hertfordshire, England.  Gilbert De's father was Jr Richard Fitz Gilbert De Richard Fitzgilbert Lord Jr/Clare and his mother was Gernon Adeliza Alice De Meschines Gernon. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Roger De, Robert, Richard De, Adeliza De, Rohese De, Adles, Alice De and Rose De.  He was the oldest of the nine children. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Roger De and Isabel De.  He died at the age of 40 in 1152 in England.  He was buried in Clare, Suffolk, England.
