Alice Bassett 
Alice was born about 1184 in Wallingford, Buckinghamshire, England. Alice's father was (Baron Wallingford) Thurston Basset (Baron Wallingford) and her mother was Mrs-Thurston Basset. She had a brother and five sisters, named Richard, Isabel, Joan, Egilina, Matilda and Laurencia. She was the fourth oldest of the seven children.
