Peter BUTTON 
Peter was born on September 24th, 1704 in Plainfield, Windham County, Connecticut and his baptism took place on September 24th, 1704 in Stonington, Connecticut. Peter's father was II Matthias BUTTON II and his mother was Mary NEFF. His paternal grandparents were Matthias BUTTON (Bouton) and Ann TEAGLE (Tagall Or Teague?); his maternal grandparents were William NEFF (Neafe) and Mary CORLISS. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Daniel, Matthias, John, Mary, Sarah, Abigail, Rebecca and Zerviah. He was the second youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 58 in 1762 in Canterbury, Windham County, Connecticut.-
