AEthelbald 
AEthelbald was born about 0838. AEthelbald's father was King Aethelwulf "Noble Wolf" Aethelwulf of Wessex and his mother was Osburga Osburh. His paternal grandparents were King of Wessex Egbert III and Redbuga Raedburh De Toulouse; his maternal grandfather was Oslac. He had five brothers named Aethelred I, AEthelbert, AEthelswyth, Athelstan and Alfred. He was the second oldest of the six children. He died in 0860.General Notes
Ethelbald was the eldest son of Ethelwulf. He took over his father's authority in 855 and married Judith, daughter of Charles the Bald, king of the Franks, who was also his stepmother. He died in 860.
