King William (The Lion) was born in 1143 in Huntingdon, England.  King William (The Lion)'s father was Prince Henry of Scotland and his mother was Ada de Warenne.  His paternal grandparents were King David I (The Saint) of Scotland and Queen Matilda of Scotland. He had two brothers and four sisters, named King Malcolm IV, David Canmore (Crusader), Aufrica, Margaret , Ada and Margory.  He was the third oldest of the seven children.  He died at the age of 71 on December 4th, 1214 in Stirling Castle, England.  He was buried in Arbroath Abbey, Angus, Scotland.

They had three daughters named Ada, Unknown Princess and Princess Isabel.

They had a son and a daughter, named King Alexander II (The Peaceful) and Princess Margaret.
