King Malcolm III Canmore was born about 1031 in Atholl, Scotland.  King Malcolm III Canmore's father was King Duncan I Mac Crinan of Scotland and his mother was Sibyl Biornsson.  His paternal grandparents were Crinan (The Thane) UNKNOWN and Princess Bethoc of Scotland. He had three brothers and a sister, named King Donald III (Bane), Prince Duncan, Mael Muire (Melmare) and Princess Beatrix.  He was the oldest of the five children.  He died on November 13th, 1093 in Battle of Alnwick Castle, Eng.  He was buried in Dumferline, Fife, Scotland.
