Hannah was born on September 7th, 1759 in York Co, PA. Hannah's father was William Willis and her mother was Betty Harlan. Her paternal grandparents were Edward Willis and Katharine Maris; her maternal grandparents were James Harlan and Susannah Osborn. She had two brothers and two sisters, named John, Joel, Susanna and Lydia. She had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Samuel, Joseph, Mary and Elizabeth.-
