Captain Nathaniel was born on November 28th, 1727 in Livingston, Essex, NJ. Captain Nathaniel's father was Jonathan Squire and his mother was Lydia Camp. His paternal grandparents were Nathaniel Squire and Sarah Higgins. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Jonathan, Zophar, Elijah, Rachel and Mary. He was the oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 61 on October 28th, 1789 in Hanover, Morris, NJ.-
