John Squier 
John was born in 1758 in Hanover, Morris, NJ. John's father was Captain Nathaniel Squire and his mother was Mary Beach. His paternal grandparents were Jonathan Squire and Lydia Camp. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Samuel, Simeon, Stephen, Nathaniel, Comfort, Mary and Elizabeth. He was the oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 31 on January 13th, 1789.-
