Comfort Squier 
Comfort was born in 1764 in Hanover, Morris, NJ. Comfort's father was Captain Nathaniel Squire and her mother was Mary Beach. Her paternal grandparents were Jonathan Squire and Lydia Camp. She had five brothers and two sisters, named John, Samuel, Simeon, Stephen, Nathaniel, Mary and Elizabeth. She was the third oldest of the eight children.-
