John Ellsworth

John was born on October 7th, 1671. John's father was Josiah Ellsworth and his mother was Elizabeth Holcombe. His maternal grandparents were Thomas Holcombe and Elizabeth Ferguson. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Josiah, Thomas, Jonathan, Jacob, Benjamin, Elizabeth, Mary and Martha. He was the third youngest of the nine children.
