Theodore Franklin was born on February 12th, 1856. Theodore Franklin's father was German Francis Burton and his mother was Margaret Melvony McAdams. His paternal grandparents were Blackman Burton and Jinsey Yancy "Jinny" Saxon. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Lawrence Orr, William Walters, Blackman Yancy, Emma Jane and Georgiana M.. He was the second oldest of the six children.-
