Ruby Albertha was born on April 8th, 1906. Ruby Albertha's father was William Walters Burton and her mother was Emma Celestine Hall. Her paternal grandparents were German Francis Burton and Margaret Melvony McAdams. She had three brothers and seven sisters, named Columbus Claudius, Hubbard Walters, Emory Goss, Daisy Malvoney, Ada Talulah, Mary Catherine, Melinda Williams, Lida Montell, Selma Virginia and Marie Elizabeth. She was the youngest of the eleven children.-
