John Benton

John was born on April 9th, 1650 in Milford, New Haven, CT.  John's father was Andrew Benton and his mother was Hannah Stocking.  His paternal grandparents were John Benton and Mary Southernwood. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Andrew, John, Samuel, Joseph, Mary, Dorothy and Hannah. He had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Ebenezer, John, Lydia and Hannah.
