John Benton

John was born about 1680 in Hartford, CT.  John's father was Andrew Benton and his mother was Anne Cole.  His paternal grandparents were John Benton and Mary Southernwood. He had a brother and two sisters, named Ebenezer, Lydia and Hannah. He had five half-brothers and three half-sisters, named John, Andrew, John, Samuel, Joseph, Mary, Dorothy and Hannah.
