Elinor Alford 
Elinor was born about 1543 in Whitestaunton, Somerset, Eng. Elinor's father was Rev Alexander Alford and her mother was Agnes Unknown. Her paternal grandfather was John Alford. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Solomon, William John , John , Bartholomew, Mary, Alice and Bridget. She was the third oldest of the eight children.
