Thomas (Twin) was born on July 6th, 1796 in , Woodford Co., Ky. Thomas (Twin)'s father was John (Peg Leg) WHITAKER and his mother was Martha Wilcoxson (Widow) WILSON. His paternal grandparents were Mark Or Marcus WHITAKER and Tabitha; his maternal grandparents were Isaac WILCOXSON (WILLCOCKSON) and Martha BANE. He had five brothers and two sisters, named William W., John Jerigan, Joseph, Benjamin, Daniel (Twin), Martha "Patsy" and Nancy. He died at the age of 83 on August 17th, 1879 in Bedford, , Tn. He was buried in Mulberry Cem., Lincoln Co., Tn.-
