Martha "Patsy" was born in May 1799 in , Woodford Co., Ky. Martha "Patsy"'s father was John (Peg Leg) WHITAKER and her mother was Martha Wilcoxson (Widow) WILSON. Her paternal grandparents were Mark Or Marcus WHITAKER and Tabitha; her maternal grandparents were Isaac WILCOXSON (WILLCOCKSON) and Martha BANE. She had six brothers and a sister, named William W., John Jerigan, Joseph, Benjamin, Daniel (Twin), Thomas (Twin) and Nancy. She died at the age of 62 on January 4th, 1862 in Nacogdoches, , Tx.-
