Peter WHITAKER 
Peter was born on December 11th, 1733 in Kennett Square, Chester, Pennsylvania. Peter's father was William WHITAKER and his mother was Elizabeth CARLETON. His maternal grandparents were Marke CARLETON and Susanna WATSON. He had four brothers and six sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named Mark Or Marcus, Samuel, William Jr., Joshua, Lydia, Sarah, Sarah, Susan, Jane, Mary and John. He was the sixth youngest of the twelve children. He had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Samuel, Marcus Mark, Jane and Sarah. He died at the age of 81 on August 15th, 1815 in Fairview, Buncombe, North Carolina. He was buried in Fairview, Buncombe, North Carolina, Cane Creek Cem.-
