Joshua WHITAKER

Joshua was born on June 22nd, 1735 in BRADFORD,Chester,Delaware,PA.  Joshua's father was William WHITAKER and his mother was Elizabeth Carleton CARLINGTON. He had four brothers and three sisters, named William Jr., Peter, Samuel, Marcus Mark, Susan, Jane and Sarah.  He was the fourth youngest of the eight children. He had two half-brothers and five half-sisters, and also a half-sibling of unknown gender, named Mark Or Marcus, Samuel, Lydia, Sarah, Sarah, Jane, Mary and John.  He died at the age of 62 on May 1st, 1798 in ,Rowan,NC.  He was buried in Jersey Bapt Ch,Linwood,Lexington,NC.
