Hugh De Courtenay 
Hugh was born in 1270 in England. Hugh's father was Hugh Courtenay and his mother was Eleanor Despencer. His paternal grandparents were John Courtenay and Isabel De Vere; his maternal grandparents were Hugh Le Despencer and Aliva Basset. He had four brothers and six sisters, named Philip, Thomas, John, Robert, Eleanor, Margaret, Avelina, Egeline, Isabella and Alice. He was the second oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 70 on December 23rd, 1340 in Exeter, Devonshire, England.-
