Joseph Hawdon 
Joseph was born in 1836.1 Joseph's father was John Hawdon and his mother was Margaret Katharine Potts. His paternal grandparents were John Hawdon and Elizabeth Hunt; his maternal grandparents were William Potts and Margaret Werge. He had five brothers and three sisters, named John, Gilbert, William, Ernest, Francis, Margaret, Elizabeth and Annie. He was the fourth youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 56 in June 1892.1 -
