Lucy was born in 1745 in Halifax County,Virginia. Lucy's father was Joseph Collins and her mother was Lucy Prisher Marjoribanks. Her maternal grandparents were George (Marchbanks, Marshbanks, Marjorybanks) Marjoribanks and Ann Echols. She had a brother named Elisha. She was the older of the two children. She died at the age of 45 in 1790 in Edgefield County,South Carolina.-
