George (Marchbanks, Marshbanks, Marjorybanks) Marjoribanks

George, known as Marchbanks, Marshbanks, Marjorybanks, was born in 1695 in Edinburg,Scotland.¹   Marchbanks, Marshbanks, Marjorybanks' father was Thomas Marjoribanks Of Ratho and his mother was Marion Douglas.  His paternal grandfather was John Marjoribanks Of Ratho.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 45 in October 1740 in Raleigh Parrish,Amelia Co.,VA.¹ 

‌Marchbanks, Marshbanks, Marjorybanks and Ann were married in a religious ceremony about 1714 in Scotland.¹   They had a son and a daughter, named William and Lucy Prisher.
