Rhain Ap Hywel 
Rhain was born about 0919 in Of Dynevor,Llandyfeisant,Carmarthenshire,Wales. Rhain's father was Hywel Dda and his mother was Elen Verch Llywarch. His paternal grandparents were Cadell Mawr Ap Rhodri and Rheingar; his maternal grandparents were Llywarch Ap Hyfaidd Of Deheubarth and Unknown. He had seven brothers and two sisters, named Owain, Maredydd, Rhodri, Dyfnwal, Edwin, Cynan, Einion, Gwenllian and Angharad. He was the fifth oldest of the ten children. He died before 0948.-
