Gisele was born in 1005 in Flanders,Belgium. Gisele's father was Count Frederic I Aachen Of Luxembourge and her mother was Ermentrude De Wetterau Of Gleiberg. Her paternal grandparents were Count Sigfrid Aachen Of Luxembourge and Hedwig De Nordgau; her maternal grandparents were Count Heribert (Kinziggau) De Wetterau and Countess Irmintrud De Avalgau. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Frederick II, Giselbert I, Hermann, Otgive and Ermentrude. She was the second youngest of the six children. She died after 1041.
